Sentence intonation - NOT amateur radio

Have you noticed that younger people tend to go up at the end of a sentence? It rarely fails: if a sentence goes up at the end then the person saying it is probably under 30 years old, like. 😉

I have noticed a recent trend in people beginning sentences (in written contexts - online forums, etc.) with the word "So" when the word is completely unnecessary. Now that I've mentioned it, you may start to notice it too.

Agreed. The reason for that might be that kids interact much more on a global level and are exposed to US shows on television. The intonation thing might be originating in the US.
